What Quillkeep stores, and where

Quillkeep saves your prompts and their version history in your browser's local storage on your own computer. This data stays on your device. There is no Quillkeep server that holds your prompts.

The one network request

Quillkeep makes a network request only when you activate a Pro license. At that point it sends your license key to Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider, to confirm the purchase. Nothing else is transmitted. Quillkeep does not use analytics, does not track your activity, and includes no third-party trackers or ads.

Backups

The optional backup feature writes a copy of your prompts to a file you choose on your own computer. That file stays under your control. Quillkeep never uploads it anywhere.

Access to ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini

Quillkeep runs on ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini so it can insert your saved prompts into their message boxes. It reads and writes only within those sites' input fields. It does not read, collect, or transmit the content of your conversations.

Your data is yours

You can export your entire library to a JSON file at any time, including on the free plan. Uninstalling the extension removes its local data from your browser. Your backup file, if you made one, stays where you saved it until you delete it.

Changes to this policy

If Quillkeep ever changes what data it handles, this page will be updated to match before that change ships.
